Garage Sale – LOVEly Day Tohether

My ten-year-old daughter Eliška and I took part in the Garage Sale in Košíře, Prague 5. For us, it was a lovely chance to spend time together and enjoy a different kind of day.

We prepared lots of things for our stall and thought about who might enjoy them next. Things we no longer used could still be useful and make someone else happy. Eli chose many toys she was ready to sell and made beautiful little packages.

I also wanted to try selling small gifts with my own photographs. People liked the pocket mirrors and badges. My photograph of a teddy bear looking towards Charles Bridge in Prague also attracted a lot of interest. It was lovely to see people stop and look at my work.

The event started in the morning, with more than 100 sellers and many visitors. It took place beside the beautiful Cibulka Park, and our stall was under a large old tree. We brought a flask of tea and snacks to enjoy during the day.

The best part was spending this time with Eli, preparing everything at home, meeting people and sharing the experience. It was a day full of small moments that made us happy.
